Management of our freshwater resources is a critical component of natural resource management in New Zealand. We are involved in a number of projects and processes that are dealing with the management of this important resource, including: Horticulture New Zealand on plan and policy changes around the country, notably Canterbury, Hawke’s Bay, Auckland, Tasman and the Waikato; Local authorities particularly in the Waikato in relation to water and wastewater issues; energy generators in relation to hydro projects and other developments that require freshwater for use or for discharges.
